Zully Ruiz Enterprises Inc.,
Realtor and Consultants

A Commitment to Excellence… Born in Cuba, Zully Ruiz arrived in the United States at the early age of fifteen. Financially challenged and alone, her parents remained in Cuba an additional two years, she began attending Miami Edison Sr. High School in 1962.

Although it was a difficult transition, she quickly adjusted to her surroundings and graduated in 1965.

Following a few years in the restaurant business, she decided to attend Miami Dade Community College and the University of Miami where she earned her real estate degrees.

It didn’t take long for her to find her calling and in 1973, she became a Real Estate Broker, focusing on Land sales.

In 1985 she added zoning, land consulting and governmental affairs to her list of brokerage office services.

This quickly led to the formation of "Zully Ruiz Enterprises Inc, Realtors and Consultants" in 1989, specializing in the following areas:

LAND AS HER SPECIALTY, AND IT'S ENTITLEMENTS
State and County Environmental Permits
Land development & Specific Product design
Project Management

Since this time, the company has continued to expand growing into a full-service firm. Zully has accomplished several personal and professional goals, including the sale, zoning and development permits of 611 acres, which were converted into market residential units for clients. In 1992, after Hurricane Andrew, Zully became a partner of "International Homes" where 187 homes were completed..

Through hard work and dedication, the partnership quickly became a success and completed 249 single family homes in a record-setting period of time. Currently, Zully is a partner in the Urbanism Group, where she is actively involved in several key projects, including mix use buildings that will house ground retail, 200 condominiums, as well as office condo conversions in Miami and Coral Gables, Florida.

Additionally, Zully is involved in several professional associations and sits on the Board of Directors of both the Latin Builders Association and the Builders Association of South Florida.

In 2002, Governor Jeb Bush appointed Zully Ruiz as a board member of Florida Housing. Florida Housing is the state agency that overlooks affordable housing for the entire state of Florida.

In 2007, Miami Dade Public Schools Board Members formed "The Blue Ribbon Committee" where she serves as Vice-Chair. This committee was designed to look into special housing opportunities to retain teachers in the county.

She has also served on several City of Miami and Miami Dade  County task forces, such as Impact Fee Task Force and Construction Trade Qualifying Board.  She has also served several times  as Chair and Vice Chair  to the Governmental Affairs Committee for the Residential Society of the Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches, and has received numerous awards for her outstanding service to the industry.
