A Commitment to Excellence… Born in Cuba, Zully Ruiz arrived in the United States at the early age of fifteen. Financially challenged and alone, her parents remained in Cuba an additional two years.
Although it was a difficult transition, she quickly adjusted to her surroundings and graduated from Miami Edison Sr. in 1965.
In the early seventies, she attended Miami Dade Community College and University of Miami for her real estate degrees.
Initially licensed in 1973, followed by her real estate broker license in 1976.
Pursuing expertise in land sales, Zully studied land use codes to add value to her customer's land parcels. In 1985 she added zoning, land consulting and governmental affairs to her list of brokerage services.
This quickly led to the formation of "Zully Ruiz Enterprises Inc, Realtors and Consultants" . In 1989 Z.R.E.,, listed all services from A to Z in land, including environmental state and federal permits.
Zully Ruiz, offered and coordinated all her zoning and entitlement approvals for every one of her sales, which exceed 2,000 building sites.
Through the years, Zully has partnered with clients in short joint ventures resulting in the construction of 290 residential properties and has 100% satisfaction results.
Zully, pioneered the three most importan vacant land areas, West Kendall, South Kendall and the Doral Area, where her clients quickly acquired large parcels.
In 2004, land was depleting and it was time for "Eastward Ho" Commercial R.E.
Professional Association and Public Service:
Always involved in the industry related issues and governmental affairs, she has sat in the board for B.A.S.F. Builder Association of South Florida several years, served as P.A.C. co-chair from 2002-2006. She now continues to be a member of the legislative committee for the association, lobbying and following political races.
In 2002, Governor Jeb Bush appointed Zully Ruiz as a board member of Florida Housing. Florida Housing is the state agency that overlooks affordable housing for the entire state of Florida. She served from 2002-2008.
In 2007, Miami Dade Public Schools Board Members formed "The Blue Ribbon Committee" appointed by Renier Diaz de la Portilla. She served as the committee Vice-Chair.
Other Public Service: Appointed by County Commissioner Natacha Seijas to Construction Trade Qualifying Board, Appointed by Chairman Joe Sanchez to the Little Havana Advisory Board, and appointed by Mayor Manny Diaz to City of Miami Commercial Loan Committee.
